Record home sales in the GTA continued in February as buyers remained confident in their employment situations and took advantage of ultra-low borrowing costs. Double-digit annual price growth was the norm in the GTA, with stronger rates of growth in the suburbs surrounding the City of Toronto.

TRREB released its monthly key housing market stats for February 2021 and we saw a new record for the number of sales in the month of February.

10,970 sales were reported through TRREB's MLS System in February. Sales volume was up 52.5% versus February 2020. 

There were
 15,137 new listings in February. New listings were up by 42.6% compared to February 2020.

The average selling price in January was $1,045,488 up by 14.9% compared to February 2020.
